    Administrative leadership of the municipal Fire Department and Office of Emergency Management, overseeing departmental operations, while supporting fire and rescue services, emergency preparedness, and citywide disaster response. Led COVID-19 coordination.

    2014-2015 Operations Division Commander

    Oversight of all uniformed patrol officers, detective bureau, and internal affairs.

    2013-2014 Patrol Captain

    Supervision of watch commanders for all patrol shifts, and the field training program.

    Concurrent service as municipal counter-terrorism coordinator.

    2010 - 2013 ‍ Street Crime Enforcement Supervisor

    Planned, executed, and commanded interagency task force operations to reduce open-air narcotics trafficking and violent crime.

    2009-2013 Shift Commander Lieutenant

    Responsible for a rotating shift of patrol officers and sergeants. Served as departmental community outreach officer.

    Earned city-wide Supervisor of The Year award for exceptional service and exemplary contributions.

    2006-2009‍ Patrol Sergeant

    Supervised a squad of uniformed patrol officers, answering calls for service, performing traffic enforcement, crime suppression, and field-training of new recruits.

    2003-2006‍ ‍ Community Policing Bicycle Patrol Officer

    Bicycle patrol of high crime areas, central business district, and remote areas of the City to reduce crime, gather intelligence, and provide visibility.

    2001-2003‍Patrol Officer

    Performed traffic enforcement, responded to calls for service, made arrests.

    Recipient of the Mainland PBA Valor award.

    Institutional boot camp drill instructor responsible for custody of inmates, as well as teaching military discipline, physical training, and life skills.
